The Nissan GQ Patrol arrived in Australia in the late 80’s, and stuck around until the end of the 90’s!
Rugged, tough and highly capable offroad, there’s no wonder why these beasts are still so sought after.
Available with a variety of engine types, the stand out being the TD42. The naturally aspirated 4.2 Litre Diesel and in standard form, these are well known for being a “Half million km” engine.
Saying that, if you whack a whistly boi on the side of it, and crank the old girl up to 300+ hp, expect some great times, just before you gift yourself a bluetooth crank.
